Launched in June 2020, Spotlight is a monthly event that promotes conversations with black women and women of colour about different topics such as entrepreneurship, self-care, or financial literacy. These women relate and share their own personal and professional experiences with participants.
On Wednesday April 28th, Vivian Kaye will be our first host for the 2021 live discussion. Founder of Kinky Curly Yaki, she will discuss about entrepreneurship, money management and branding.

We are so happy to present our next Spotlight live discussion dedicated to the Power of Side Hustle.
On August 26th, Bayode (Bay) Simpson will be our special guest. Founder of The Entrepreneur’s Nook, she helps women grow their serviced-based side hustles while working full time.
We are excited to present the 2nd edition of Spotlight: Live Discussion with Black women on many topics including entrepreneurship.
On July 29th, we'll discuss Black wealth with Yvonne Ben, Founder of The Kscope. She's one of Toronto's most vibrant African Fashion Ambassadors and a budding media entrepreneur.
On June 17th, 2020, we will host the first of many panel discussions with trailblazing Black women on Zoom. The conversations will be about entrepreneurship during COVID-19, protests and self-care.
