Join Our Board of Directors

Afropolitan Canada is seeking three volunteer Board members to help guide our next phase of growth. We are especially looking for leaders with experience in:

  • Finance / Accounting

  • Law / Governance

  • Fundraising & Communications

This is a volunteer position requiring approximately 5–8 hours per month, including meeting preparation and committee work.

As a Black-led, bilingual (English/French) organization, we strongly encourage applications from people who are bilingual and from all communities, genders, and backgrounds who share our commitment to equity, inclusion, and community building.

If you’re passionate about strengthening opportunities for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour), newcomer, and francophone communities in the Waterloo Region and beyond, we’d love to hear from you.
